Samir Samih Ghniem, 76, returned to his heavenly home on May 10, 2021 after a valiant battle with a long illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Samir was Born in Haifa, Palestine on March 13, 1945 and started his life journey in Palestine then moved to Jordan as his primary country however, Samir traveled the world to support his family.
Preceded in death by his parents Samih and Munira Ghniem, Samir is survived by his wife, Nadreh Ghniem, his daughters and their spouses, Nesrin and Rami Hosh, Shereen and Joseph Melki, Nermeen and Karim Arif; His grandchildren Hanna and Tia Hosh, Mya and Matthew Melki, Yara and Christian Arif; his siblings Hanna, Suahil, Samira, Salwa, Maha and Tagreed; and abundance of friends who became his family from day one.
Samir was described as the kindest person with the biggest heart, his love and dedication to his family, friends, doctors, nurses, neighbors and strangers was very outpouring in his own way. Samir loved to host gatherings (even though he was not the host, wife was), he enjoyed spending time with daughters and his grandkids, he loved taking the grandkids on a car ride and going to get Pizza and Ice Cream. He was the most generous individual who would give his last dollar to anyone in need. He enjoyed sitting outside to watch his plants and garden grow. He was so passionate about delivering goods to his family, especially from the farm.
Samir is known to have a positive impact on those he knew even for one day; his legacy is going to live on forever because he left a footprint on the sand of the time that he lived. We mourn the loss of our father and encourage any and all who knew him to remember the beauty he brought to this world.
