Ronald Edgar Hustead

On January 28, 2023, Ronald E. Hustead of Clarksville, MD, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer.  He was born on March 21, 1937, to Ruth Margaret McCusker and Harold Raymond Hustead. He was a proud United States Navy veteran serving 1954 to 1958. After he got out of the Navy, he graduated from Penn State University in 1962. He was a member of Mensa International, the American Legion and volunteered in his later years for BWI Pathfinders.  He retired from Northrup Grumman in 2002.  He enjoyed golfing with his various golf groups, watching Penn State football and fun family gatherings were his favorite.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years Charlene C Hustead, his children Laura M Hilley (Michael Hilley) and Gregory C Hustead (Amy Brewer); and his grandchildren Nicholas, Mitchell, Grace, Grant, Michelle, and Kyra. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 1st, at 12:00 PM at Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, 2750 Rogers Ave. Ellicott City MD 21043.  All are invited to stay after lunch.
