On Sunday April 18, 2021 loving husband, father and grandfather Robert Lee Helton, Jr. of Burtonsville passed away at age 64.
Robert was born on April 5, 1957 to Robert and Thelma (nee Thomas) Helton, Sr. He was raised in Beltsville and Graduated from High Point High School in 1975. In 1979 he married Deborah Coon.

A couple of Roberts hobbies were hunting and motorcycles. If you could not find him in the woods hunting or on a bike riding, you would find him working around his house. He loved being outdoors. He had an infectious smile and colorful sense of humor and enjoyed being the center of attention. He also liked to say “If you weren’t 15 minutes early… You are Late!” he was always on time. Robert was also a patriot. He loved this country. He was always wearing or flying an American flag or telling you what it meant to him.
Robert was passionate about his job. He started working at Halle Enterprises, Inc July 29, 1976 until his passing. Over those 44 years Robert, Cookie and Martha Halle developed a very special bond.
He is survived by his beloved wife Debbie of 42 years, their son Chris, and his wife Katrina, three grandsons Devin, Nolan, Rylan and one granddaughter Kylie, devoted sister Loretta Bemis and her husband Kris a loving brother-in-law, Robert Coon and his Wife Marsha and Fur baby Gunner.
