Marc Ryan El-Sayed, 17 of Clarksville, Maryland passed away on February 25, 2020. He was born in 2002 to Jocelyn Nazareno El-Sayed and Najib M. El-Sayed in Baltimore. Marc was a Senior at River Hill High School, eager to begin his university studies in a few months. He was an avid student, curious and fascinated by all sorts of knowledge, particularly World History and Geography. He traveled the world seeking to explore different cultures and determined to make a lasting impact in underserved communities locally and globally. In addition to being a passionate volunteer, Marc stayed active and athletic, training at the gym regularly. He was fond of animals and was a food connoisseur. He enjoyed cooking with his family and was always eager to try out new recipes. Marc took week-long trips to New York City twice a year with his twin brother, during which they would dedicate the entire week to trying new restaurants around the city.
Marc’s 17 years of life were full of happiness and he spread that joy everywhere. He was genuine, compassionate, fun-loving and made a lasting impact on any individual he encountered. We will all remember his warm smile, his magnificent spirit and his selfless nature.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his twin brother Neil, his sister Maya, and his very large extended family and all his wonderful friends.
Visitations will be on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, Md. 21029
where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Columbia Memorial Park
