Louise Sehman Obituary

On Thursday, April 9th 2020, Louise B. Sehman loving wife and mother of four children, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren passed away at age 88 surrounded by her family.

Louise was born on October 14, 1931 in Salisbury, Maryland to Elton H. and Margaret C. Bounds. It was on the Eastern Shore that Louise met the love of her life Chuck A. Sehman. They were married on October 22, 1949 and moved to Hyattsville, MD where they raised their 4 children, Chuck, Debbie, Penny and Pam.

Louise had a long career at Capitol Milk Producers in Laurel, MD where she was the payroll supervisor.

Louise and Chuck moved to Highland, MD in 1977 where she resided until 2016 when she moved to Vantage House in Columbia, MD. Louise was a faithful member of Mt Zion UMC in Highland for 41 years. Louise enjoyed playing cards, golf, traveling and watching sports, she was known for her infectious smile and laughter. Spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren meant more than anything to her.

Louise is survived by her 4 children and spouses, Charles A. Sehman III and wife Sandy, Debbie Amos (Mike), Penny Schmit and husband John, Pam Ehrenfried and husband Jim. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy Odom, Chuck Sehman, Alex Sehman, Wesley Amos, Phillip Amos, Kelly Marinello, Katie Bozarth, David Fritsch, Jenny Schmit, Andrew Schmit, Kimberly Beitzell and her 12 Great Grandchildren, Charlie Odom, Cora and Margo Sehman, Lukas and Lyla Amos, Elijah Amos, Eloise Marinello, Emily Bozarth, Anna and Chris Bozarth, Fallon Fritsch and Cash Pierce. She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Because of the coronavirus a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 14th at 11am for family members only. A celebration of life will be held sometime this summer.
