Joseph Warren Leiss III

On Friday, October 16th, 2020, Joseph Warren Leiss III, 62, of Clarksville, Maryland, passed away.

He was born on April 7th, 1958, to Joseph Warren Leiss Jr. & Rowena Newberry Leiss.

Joe was a Izmir Sultans Alumnus, & a Ravens fanatic. He spent his days working hard as a database administrator, all the while raising a beautiful family. He loved growing hundreds of varieties of hot peppers, which would be dried every season into his famous "Habenero Hot Joe" spice. He also enjoyed venturing to lighthouse locations up and down the coast. He was kind and welcoming to every person that walked into his life, and will be dearly missed. 

Joe is survived by his children, Joseph Michael Leiss IV & Heather Shannen Leiss, his sisters, Amy Leiss-Veazy & Mary Elizabeth Higgs, and his beloved dog, Teddy.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A, 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029 on Thursday, October 22nd, 2020 from 12:00 to 2:00pm, with a service at 2:00pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ASPCA at aspca.org. We welcome you to provide memories on the tribute wall.
