It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend, Joseph Charles Danastor on April 16, 2022. Charles who was born on November 23rd,1935 in Gonaives, Haiti was married to the late Jeanine Rely. Left to mourn him are his four children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, countless family members and friends.
Charles was most popular for his wisdom, and his skills of teaching English and Mathematics. Among his many professional achievements and accolades were his role of director of a professional school in the city of Gonaïves where he spent most of his life, and later becoming a judge in the highest court in Haiti. Charles courageously fought illness for many years before succumbing this past April 16th.
We will forever be grateful for the love and support that many of you showed during his many years of sickness, and most recently during these very difficult days since his passing. We would particularly like to thank the Alida, Pierre, Toussaint, Saint-Louis, Limage, Bercy, Jacques, Vernet, Antoine, Coq, Joseph, Benoit, Rely, a and Thebeau families. We look forward to celebrating his life with all of you on the 30th.
A Visitation will held at Church of the Resurrection, 3175 Paulskirk Drive, Ellicott city, MD, on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 10:00-11:00am where a Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30am. Interment following Funeral Service at Columbia Memorial Park, 12005 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029.
