On January 19th, John (Jack) Francis Maloney Jr., 83, of Highland passed away peacefully at his home. Born October 18th, 1939, in Washington DC to John Francis and Eleanor Maloney.
He was a member of Mt Zion United Methodist Church in Highland, MD. In 1963 he started a successful HVAC business. He enjoyed building hot rods. His flair for mechanical engineering gave his hot rods quite the customization. He and his wife enjoyed traveling across the country in their motor coach to attend car shows. Until recently they shared their time living in Maryland and Naples Florida. Over the years they also enjoyed dancing, boating, skiing, snowmobiling, and spending time with family and many friends.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 45 years Nancy May Maloney, and Jeff Wittig (Dotti) a devoted friend and dedicated business partner who is a cherished member of the family, children, Jackie Maloney (Janice), Jim Maloney (Julie), Denise Simmons, Richard Maloney, Russell Maloney (Vicki), Chris Lindsay (Danny), 10 Grandchildren, Jessica, Kristina, Ashley, Megan, Johnny, Cori, Amanda, Ryan, Keygun and Carla. 4 Great Grandchildren, Kingston, Coraline, Rocklyn and Macey. Also surviving are Sister Patsy Hess (Chuck) and brother Chuck Maloney (Marcia) and Sister in-law Catia Maloney as well as many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, and brother Daniel Maloney.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 24th, 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., Clarksville, MD 21029.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday January 25th, 10:00 AM at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 12430 Scaggsville Road, Highland, MD 20777.
