Afterward, he ventured into the business world with particular interest in cars and auto parts. After his journey to the United States, his love for cars grew more. Through hard work and dedication, he was the CEO of Jemci LLC. dealers in car export, buying, and sales of various brands of vehicles.
He went to be with the Lord on the morning of November 20, 2021, at Howard County general hospital, Columbia Maryland after battling respiratory issues. John demonstrated his undying love and care for his wife even unto death. He was an epitome of a faithful, caring, and understanding husband. His kids speak highly of his fatherly care and love as well.
John Ifeanyi Chukwunenye is survived by his wife of 26 years, Dr. Edith Nneka Chukwunenye; children (Ekpereamaka, Chukwubuikem, and Ifechukwu), Sisters-(Christiana, Bernadette, Uche, Theresa, Angela, Juliet, and Julie), including numerous nephews and nieces, cousins, and in-laws.
John was a good friend to many, helpful, selfless, and kind. He was a voice to the voiceless, and supported the less privileged, including family, relations, and friends. John will always remain that hero in our eyes. John, your presence will be missed but our consolation is that you are in a better place.
