Jingbi Tan

On January 22, 2022 at 12:20 p.m. JINGBI (JAMES) TAN passed away. He was the loving and beloved husband of Ya Meng, father of Aaron, Bruce and Carl, son of Ziwei Yue, and brother of Huiqiong Tan and Youfu Tan.

Born on June 9, 1972 in Hunan, China, he graduated from The First High School of Changsha in 1991. Afterwards, he attended Central South University, where he met his wife, Ya. After graduating from CSU in 1995, he went to Shenzhen to pursue his startup software company. He came to the US in 1998 and got his master’s degree in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2002. He moved to Maryland to join FEI Systems in 2004.

James, as he was known, was very generous and joyful, and always had a contagious smile. He was the center of influence wherever he went, a problem solver for both his colleagues and family. He loved his wife and three boys very much. Among other things, he liked to read, travel, play cards, watch action movies, shop for electronics, and build his own super-computer.

谭静碧于2022年1月22日12点20分在美国马里兰州病逝，享年49岁。

静碧于1972年6月9日出生在中国湖南。1991年毕业于长沙一中，随后就读于中南大学。1995年大学毕业后赴深圳创建自己的软件公司。1998年赴美留学，于2002年获得伊利诺伊理工大学的计算机硕士学位。2004年加入位于马里兰州的FEI System 公司。

静碧和爱人孟亚相识于大学校园，恩恩爱爱一同走过了30多年，他们一起孝敬父母，并养育三个可爱的儿子。静碧热爱生活，喜欢阅读、旅行、和朋友们一起打牌。他热爱工作，在公司兢兢业业工作20余年，直到生病离开工作岗位，深受领导的认可和同事的尊敬。

孩子们会永远想念他们积极乐观，富有耐心的父亲，朋友们会永远记着静碧富有感染力的微笑和无私的帮助。

静碧遗体告别仪式现择定于2022年1月25日，周二下午美东时间5点至7点于Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, 12540 Clarksville Pike (Rte. 108) Clarksville, Maryland 21029 举行。
