Dolores Gay Toibero, age 74, passed away peacefully in her home, Saturday, July 18, 2020 due to renal failure as a result of complications with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born October 16, 1945 in Washington, DC to Roland and Virginia. She was married to her first love, Fred John Toibero.
Dolores was an independent thinker who always followed her conscience and beliefs as member of the St. Louis parish in Clarksville and also an active member in the Right to Life Pregnancy Center in Columbia. She loved long weekend trips in her camper, summers with her grandchildren, antiquing and thrift shopping with her mother, daughter, and granddaughter, sodas with no ice, family gatherings, and most of all she loved when “Freddy” came home from work! Unfortunately, the past few years, she has been continuously bed-ridden with the effects of her disease and unable to participate in her normal activities and do many of the things that she loved so much, but enthusiastically held firm to her beliefs and never faltered in her love for those around her.
Dolores will be dearly missed by her husband Fred; as his constant companion, confidant, partner, wife and mother to his children, for more than 59 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Fred, children: Frederick (55), Christina (54) and Dennis (52), grandchildren: Jessica Lauer, Denise, Anthony, Melina, and Samantha Toibero, and great grandchildren: Leah and Braden Lauer; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends may visit Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029 on Sunday 12:00 to 3:00 PM. Funeral Mass at St Louis Catholic Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, Md on Monday, July 27 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at St Louis Cemetery
