Debra Meteyer

On January 15, Debra McNabb Meteyer, 64, of Woodbine, Maryland passed away peacefully in her sleep.

She was born in 1958 to loving parents, John Wallace McNabb and Loretta Catherine Leonard McNabb, in Trenton, NJ.

Debbie was a University of Maryland Terrapin who met her soulmate Marc Jean Meteyer in her Sophomore year. She owned her own graphic design company where she created beautiful advertisements with her artistic and creative skills. She loved exploring the world, both near and far with her family and friends where she would never pass up a hike, a great restaurant, or any other adventure that came her way. Known as Turbo Deb due to her spunk on the soccer field, she later found her love of pickleball and could be found spending hours a week out on the courts with friends. Ultimately, what was truly most important to her was her family.

She is survived by her three children; Daniel John Meteyer, Kelsey Loretta Meteyer-Bane, and Anna Paige Meteyer Zippelli. She was blessed to meet her first two grandchildren who arrived in October 2022; Marc Mayson Meteyer (Daniel’s son) and Ivy Day Bane (Kelsey’s daughter). And what made her world complete was hearing that her youngest daughter Anna is expecting a baby boy this year. The joy of her expanding family was what brought her peace in her final days. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Marc who she cherished 29 loving years of marriage with on this earth and is now with again in heaven.

A Visitation will be held on January 28 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., Clarksville, MD 21029.
