Obituary
On Thursday, March 16, 2023 Darleen Nannette Butler passed away with her family by her side. A teacher for 40 years, 20 years in Howard County at Howard High- extension program and Clarksville Middle School. Darleen Butler was 75 years of age and she loved life, music, and travel while writing poetry about the world around her. A Columbia, Maryland resident since 1979, she courageously battled breast cancer for 18 years. She is survived by Eric, her husband of 54 years, son Aaron and son Ryan (wife Violeta) and much loved granddaughter Angelique, and two sisters and a brother.
A memorial service will be held at New Hope Lutheran Church, 8575 Guilford Rd in Columbia on April 23rd at 1:00 pm.
