Charles J. Zamiska, 88, formerly of Las Vegas, passed away on March 9, 2021. Charles was born in Ellsworth, PA on July 29, 1932. Charles was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Bechtel Power Corporation and then worked as a school bus driver for Montgomery County Public Schools.
Charles favorite past times were attending Polka dances, baking his famous cheesecake and brownies, playing cards with family and friends and cheering on his favorite teams the Pittsburg Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.
Charles is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ginny Zamiska; by his parents Joseph and Mary Zamiska; his brother Joseph Zamiska Jr; his sister Mary Baran and his nephew Joe Baran.
Charles is survived by his brother Steve (Joyce) Zamiska of Pittsburgh, PA; by a host of nieces and nephews, his three children Lori (Greg) Falck of Liverpool, NY; Greg (Patti) Zamiska of Burke, VA; Lisa (Clarence) Kennedy of Severn, MD; grandchildren Alexander, Danielle (Austin), Kayla, Kylie and Eric.
Charles will be forever loved, missed and cherished.
A private family service will be held. The family would like to thank Chinita and Kevin from Warm Hugs for the care that they provided while Charles lived in Las Vegas. Also, thanks to the staff at Spring Arbor of Crofton.
