Brad Salazar Obituary

Brad Allen Salazar, 53, died unexpectedly on December 25, 2020 at his beach house in Ocean City Maryland. Brad struggled with Type 1 diabetes for most of his life.

Brad was born on June 27, 1967 to Robert Louis  and Judith Teresa Salazar. He was raised in Lanham, Maryland where he was an active member of Saint Matthias Catholic Church and the Lanham Boys and Girls Club. Brad graduated from DeMatha High School in 1984 and later earned a degree in Hospitality Services from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.

Brad was an avid sports fan and loved going to the Wizards games and watching football with his Dad on Sundays. After his father’s passing last year, he promised to meet him on the first golf tee in Heaven. Brad loved California and was always trying to make his way back there.  He was beyond excited when his beloved Dodgers won the World Series this past year.

Brad is survived by his three sisters, Jere’ Cooper(Jeff), Janell Frederick(Jeff), and Jill Renehan(Bill). Brad had 11 nieces and nephews that he adored and was also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert L. and Judith T. Salazar.

Brad was a man of faith with a heart of gold who genuinely enjoyed helping others. He will be missed by many.
