William Leonard Baxter

William (Bill) Leonard Baxter, 77, of Clarksville Maryland, passed away on October 9, 2024, Born on January 10, 1947, Bill was a joy to his family and friends.

Bill graduated from High Point High School in 1964 and went on to earn a degree from the University of Maryland. His career was marked by a dedicated 15-year tenure as an IT specialist with the Prince George's County Public School system, followed by significant roles at Oxford Development Corporation and as a Real Estate Agent in Howard County.

Beyond his professional life, Bill was a devoted family man, often found in the stands at his grandchildren's various events, always cheering the loudest and celebrating their achievements. His presence was a source of stability and love.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Richerson Baxter; daughter, Lisa Baxter Lengel (John) and their children, Kate and Caroline; and son, Rodney (Missie) and their children, Gabbie, Jack, Sophia, and Matthew Baxter. William was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet Williams Hollingsworth, and father, William Henry Baxter.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later date.  He will be remembered lovingly by his family and friends.
