Trina Marie Thorne

Trina Thorne, of Columbia, MD, passed away at her home on June 4th, 2021 with her family by her side. As a mother, grandmother, career woman and woman of faith, she is best remembered for her loving heart, thoughtfulness, empathy and laughter. Nothing made her happier than being at the beach, reading, spending time with her family and friends and spoiling her grandchildren.

Trina is survived by her daughters, and their spouses, Rachelle and Gabriel Fitzwater and Renee and Trent Dugan; her son Todd; her grandchildren Auric and Liona Dugan and Gwenyth and Lauren Fitzwater; her partner Albert Martin; her aunt and godmother Genevieve Kaniewski and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Felix and Anne Krotick and her sister Sandy Krotick.

A celebration of life service will be held at Kittamaqundi Community Church on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 6:00 to 7:30pm (5410 Leaf Treader Way, Columbia, MD 21044).

Trina fought cancer bravely and privately for four years. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Trina Thorne to support cancer research via www.jimmyfund.org/gift .
