Timothy (Tim) Scott Trusner
May 6, 1956 – March 31, 2026
Timothy (Tim) Scott Trusner, 69, of Clarksville, Maryland passed away peacefully March 31, 2026 in his home.
Tim was born in Decatur, Illinois, to Wilma June (Spears) and Robert Eugene Trusner. He grew up in Harristown, Illinois, and graduated from Niantic-Harristown High School in 1974. He joined the US Air Force in 1978, and retired from active duty at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant in 2001. During his career in the military, he served at multiple duty stations in the US, Asia, and Europe, and was deployed during Operation Desert Shield and other conflicts. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1996. After military retirement, Tim joined the private sector, eventually ending his career as a Program Manager with L3Harris. After his last retirement, Tim spent his days doing the things he loved – traveling the world with his beloved wife; hunting for deals on antiques and doing home renovations; watching his sons playing sports; and attending Ravens games and UVA sporting events. He was deeply loved by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him and had him in their lives.
The family invites everyone for visitation at 1:00 pm. A private service of remembrance with military honors will begin at 2:00 pm at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029.
