Teresa "Terri" Lynn (Mcgovern) Yee

Teresa Lynn Yee (“Terri”) passed away on June 13, 2024. She was born in Baltimore Md. in 1958 to Walter and Elizabeth McGovern. In 1980 Terri received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and later earned a master’s degree in applied mathematics from the Johns Hopkins University. She also earned a master’s degree in education from Loyola University. Terri worked for the US Department of Defense, and then taught mathematics for many years at Trinity School in Ellicott City Md. before retiring in 2021. Terri was a passionate gardener and backyard naturalist, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Terri is survived by her husband of 38 years, Edward Yee, and her sons Alexander and Brian Yee, and Brian’s sons, Brandon and Liam. Terri is also survived by her brother, Michael McGovern.

A celebration of life will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville Md. 21029, on Friday June 21, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 PM.
