Susan C. (Carbone) Johnson

Susan Mary Carbone Johnson, age 65, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2023, surrounded by her devoted and loving husband and members of her family.

During Susan’s 18-month battle with aggressive cancer, she never once wavered in her faith or her endless capacity to give, to share and to love.  A devout Catholic and active member of both St. Louis and St. Francis Parishes, Susan participated in many faith-based retreats, Bible Studies and outreach to those in need of support and encouragement. Throughout her struggle with cancer, she grew closer to God and became an even greater beacon of light to those around her.

Susan was extremely accomplished in her role as Medical Aesthetician at the Aesthetic Center at Woodholme in Baltimore, MD.  Her clients and colleagues were also drawn to her incredibly warm and compassionate demeanor.

Susan most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her treasured Beagle “pups”, Bandit and Zoey.

Susan is survived by her husband and best friend, Stephen J. Johnson, her son, Christopher Brigerman, stepsons, Justin Johnson (Nikkia), Joe Johnson (Ashley), and Andrew Johnson, and her beloved grandchildren, Blake, Delaney and Jordan. She will be greatly missed by her adoring sisters and brothers; Emma Jean Tredinnick (Mark), Jack Johnson, Jr. (Vonnie), Jimmy (Terry), Susie Kelly (Mike); nieces and nephews, James, Tommy, Nicholas, Lindsey, Rachael, Alex, Bobby, Sarah, Jack, Zach, Dominic and all of their families. Susan is reunited with her parents in death, Vito and Tina Carbone. There are also countless cousins and friends who mourn Susan’s passing.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi, 8300 Old Columbia Road, Fulton, MD 20759 at 11:30 am followed by a funeral mass at 12:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in Susan’s memory be made to St. Louis Catholic Church, Clarksville, MD or St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Fulton MD.

The family has entrusted Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., with Susan’s final care.
