Soo Yeon Kim

Soo Kim, beloved mother of Myung Lim, Kyongae Goff, Jungae Oh, Junghee Kim and Taehee Ahn peacefully passed on August 7, 2019 at 12:55 AM.

Soo, of Korean heritage, was born on February 27, 1931 and married Ryong Sun Kim in 1948. She dutifully worked as a seamstress and made clothes for all of her daughters as they grew up. Soo and Ryong both immigrated to the United States in 1987 where they became naturalized citizens. They were married for 57 years before Ryong's passing in 2005. Soo was a devout Christian who enjoyed fellowship, singing and being active. She is survived by all five sisters, the following

grandchildren:  Kyungnam Lim, Sungmi Lee, Adam Baghbanbashi, Byungjin Oh, Soyeon Oh, Byungche Oh, Jinhouck Lee, Jinsue Lee, Daeil Ahn, Bangul Ahn, Buil Ahn and four great grandchildren.
