Sharon Ann Smith (nee Cyncoski)

08/07/1947 – 12/29/2021

Sharon Ann Smith passed away early morning on December 29 at her home in Dayton MD, after being diagnosed in 2020 with her second round of breast cancer.

Sharon is survived by her husband Gregory Melvin Smith, her children, Gina Marie Smith, Douglas Wade Smith, her grandchildren, Zachary John Birmingham, Alyse Amanda Birmingham, Alyvia Angelina Smith and her great grandchildren Xander Owen Anderson, Xiah Marielle Anderson, and Isabel Pink Birmingham.

In addition, she was survived by her brothers Chuck, Jimmy and Joe Ciampaglio and other family members.  She is preceded in death by her mother Angela Ciampaglio, father Edward Cyncoski, stepfather Pat Ciampaglio and her brother Edward Cyncoski Jr. respectively.

She was a member of the prayer shawl ministry at the Shrine of St. Anthony in Ellicott City.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by her Family and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD on Tuesday, January 4th from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 5th at 10:00am at St. Louis Catholic Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029. Interment following at St. Louis Cemetery.
