Scott Edwards

Loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend Scott Edwards, age 51, passed away suddenly from a heart attack on February 13, 2023.

Born January 26, 1972, in Takoma Park, MD, Scott earned his computer science degree in 2018 from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). He was a self-proclaimed computer nerd, video game enthusiast, and avid reader. He also loved hiking and the great outdoors.

Scott was a lifelong hater of fruits and vegetables who aspired to be a master woodworker and looked forward to dabbling in blacksmithing. He loved Washington Capital’s hockey, Top Golf, and weekend adventures to anywhere with his soul mate, Christine Edwards.

He was a devoted husband, beloved son of Howard and Shirley Edwards, younger brother to Greg Edwards, dotting uncle to Dawson and Olivia Edwards, and friend to many.

A remembrance gathering honoring Scott’s beautiful life will be held for family and friends at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., in Clarksville, MD, on Monday, February 20, 2023, from 5-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, cards and longer-lasting memory plants would be lovely.
