Sang Joon Han

Sang Joon Han (age 65) of Laurel, MD, passed away on September 4, 2022. He was born in Seoul, Korea on February 12, 1957, the only son among four daughters to Un Sung Han and Young Suk Joung.

In 1983, he immigrated to America, and in November of 1989, he married his wife, Ellen. They have two children, Christina and Benjamin. Sang Joon was a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family immensely and particularly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a successful business partner with his wife, and they owned multiple retail stores.

He is survived by his mother Young Suk Joung, his four sisters (Young Ja Min, Young Hee Sun, Hae Ja Lee, and Hae Kyung Kim), his wife Ellen, his children Christina and Benjamin, and his grandchildren Evangeline, Oliver, and Charlotte

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 4 PM to 6 PM, and a service will be held from 6 PM to 7 PM at Donaldson Funeral Home, 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, Maryland 21029.
