Rita R. Hanko

Rita R. Hanko, 94, of Clarksville, MD passed away on May 8, 2024. She was born on October 27,1929 to Charles and Julia Swicker in Larksville, Pennsylvania.

Rita was a member of St. Louis Church. She enjoyed ceramics, line dancing, volunteering at senior centers, the homemaker’s association, and polka dancing.

She is survived by her three loving sons Edward (Patty), Charles, and Daniel, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029 from 8:30 am- 9:30 am.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, at St. Louis Catholic Church at 10:00 am, followed by interment at St. Louis Cemetery.
