Richard "Rick" P. Miller

On September 5, 2022, Richard Patrick Miller, 66, of Clarksville, MD, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in 1956, he was the son of Edward and Shirley Miller.

Rick graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as a certified aircraft mechanic. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2021. Prior to his career with the FAA, he was an aircraft mechanic for US Airways (later American Airlines).

Rick loved spending time on the golf course with his friends and son, cheering and photographing his children and nieces and nephews at their sporting events, relaxing at the beach with family, and going for walks at Centennial Park. He was passionate about aviation, cars, and learning about new technology.

Rick is survived by his wife, Terry, children Sara and Ryan, and numerous other loving family members.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, from 5-7 p.m., at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14, at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD. Interment to follow Funeral Mass at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rick can be made to the American Cancer Society .
