Reece Hendrix Mitchell, Jr.

On 30 June 2021, Reece H Mitchell Jr, 92, of Quinton, Va and most recently of Brookeville, Md, passed away.

Reece was born in 1928 to Reece Sr and Emma in DelRay Beach, Florida. He was a Navy Veteran and a member of a number of aviation organizations, including the EAA and QBs, as part of his lifelong passion for flying.  He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after three decades of service.  He enjoyed tinkering with all things mechanical, making jewelry and taking on any project that his wife Beatrice dreamed up.

Reece is survived by his daughter, Patricia Ann, and his son, Philip (Diane), five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice, his son, Reece III, his parents and four siblings, and his faithful dog, Luv.  All services will be private.
