Peggy Jo Pavlosky

Peggy Jo (Clark) Pavlosky, 89, of Sykesville, MD, passed away on October 13, 2026.

Born in 1937 in Newland, NC, she was the daughter of Jess Clark and Bonnie (Hayes) Clark. In 1954, she left her home in Avery County, NC to begin her career as a fingerprint clerk with the FBI in Washington, DC. It was there that she met Marty, the man she would marry in 1960. Together they shared 65 years of marriage and a lifetime of memories.

Peggy and Marty raised three children, Steve, Anthony, and Linda, and took great joy in being part of the lives of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After staying home for several years to raise her children, Peggy returned to the workforce through temporary agencies and ultimately found a home at Becton Dickinson, where she worked as a clerical secretary until her retirement in 1998.

Peggy loved cooking, baking, and gardening, and she treasured family vacations at Fenwick Island, DE.

She is survived by her husband, Marion “Marty” Pavlosky; her sons, Steve (Jean) Pavlosky and Anthony Pavlosky; and her daughter, Linda (Erik) Pavlosky Booker; along with her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jess Allen Clark, John Ralph Clark, Arnold David Clark, and Thomas Charles Clark.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the Funeral Service starting at 1:00 pm at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029.

Interment will take place at Tate Cemetery in Newland, NC, on Saturday October 24th.
