Patricia Ann Hopkin

Patricia Hopkin, 77, passed away on June 14, 2024, in Gilchrist Hospice Care of Howard County located in Columbia, MD.

Pat Hopkin was born on August 27, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Joseph Citrano and Josephine (nee Modo) Citrano.

Pat worked as an Administrative Assistant, finishing her career as one for her own Parish, St. Louis.

Pat married Charles Hopkin and they enjoyed 57 years of marriage. They had 3 children, Walter and Jeanette, Dawn and Bart McPherson, and Brian and Megan.   She enjoyed spending time with her 5 Grandchildren (The Grands)- Vincent and Joseph Hopkin, Christian McPherson, and Charlie and Mike Hopkin.

Pat was known for many interests through the years including knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, and gardening, but mostly for her Catholic Faith. She was amongst the first Eucharistic Ministers at St. Louis, as well as a member of the Pastoral Council, and Catholic Daughters.  She was also a member of the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council.

Pat is survived by Charles Hopkin, her beloved husband, her siblings Margaret Ball (nee Citrano) and Bob, and Sam Citrano and JoAnne.

A visitation for Pat will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at St.  Louis Catholic Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029 beginning at 10:00 AM.

Entombment will follow the mass at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mt View Rd, Marriottsville, MD 21104

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Patricia's name to the ALS Association of Maryland
