Oscar Ernesto Espinosa

November 30, 1972 — November 30, 2023

Clarksburg, Maryland

On July 24, 2024, Oscar E. Espinosa, 50 years old, of Clarksburg, MD passed away. He was born in Costa Rica in 1973 to Ernesto and Ileana Espinosa. Oscar was a loyal member of Triadelphia Seventh-day Adventist Church in Clarksville, MD. He also worked at the United States Senate.

In his free time, what Oscar enjoyed most was spending time with his family and dogs. He loved taking time to teach his daughter new things.  He enjoyed cooking for the family, and especially enjoyed cooking with his daughter.  He loved spending time with his family while camping or simply spending quality time at home together. His family and friends remember him for his great conversations, knowing exactly when to share a lighthearted joke, and his passion for politics and the country he loved. He had recently discovered a new hobby of woodworking and left behind many wonderful handmade treasures.  Aside from spending time with family and friends, two of his greatest passions were soccer and especially mountain biking.

Oscar loved his faith and always strived to share God’s love with others. His greatest hope and goal was to live a life to honor God and be ready to meet his Savior at His soon return.

Oscar is survived by his loving wife, Cristina Espinosa, daughter Nicole Espinosa, Mother Ileana Espinosa, in addition to his two sisters, Michelle and Pamela, several nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
