Nancy J Dawes

Nancy Jean Dawes 90 of Laurel, MD passed away February 1, 2023.

Nancy was born in 1932 to Lawrence Weigand and Marie Weigand in Pittsburgh PA.

Nancy graduated from Mount Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh PA where she met her husband Larry. Nancy was a member of St Mary of the Mills Catholic Church in Laurel, MD.

She ended her career as an executive administrative assistant at Greater Laurel Beltsville Hospital.

She enjoyed her family and her grandchildren. She loved the Washinton Redskins and all Maryland Terrapin sports teams. Nancy and her husband Larry enjoyed decades of time spent in Ocean City MD. She developed close friendships with many of her neighbors in West Laurel, MD.

Nancy is survived by her Son Larry Dawes (wife Carrie), daughters Debbie Kilpe (husband Dave), Cindy Renehan (husband John), sons Dan Dawes (wife Susan), Brian Dawes (wife Sherry). Additionally, she has 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday February 8th at 11am at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church in Laurel MD.
