Mildred "Millie" Lorraine Gallis

Millie Gallis, age 87, passed away in Highland, Maryland on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Also born in Highland on December 21, 1935, daughter of Roland and Grace (Dorsey) Disney. She worked at Boarman’s Market until retiring in 2020.

Millie is survived by her 5 children, Kathyrn Burford, Theresa Renehan, Stephen Gallis, Susan Picciotti, and Angela Carter (William); 13 grandchildren, Jamie Burford (Kristy), Aaron Burford (Lisa), Brandon Renehan (Jin), Christopher Renehan (Melissa), Spencer Renehan (PJ), Cameron Renehan (Lauren), Vincent Gallis (Jenna), Isabella Gallis, Samantha Picciotti, TJ Picciotti, Chelsea Lader (Cory), Corinne Carter and Cole Carter; and 16 great-grandchildren, Luke, Colt, Wyatt, James, Ellie, Liam, Michael, Kyle, Emma, Aubrey, Grant, Caden, William, Ady, Lorelei, and Laurel.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester “Cy” Gallis; her parents, Roland & Grace Disney; 3 sisters, Janet Furman, Charlotte Brown, and Grace Bonsal; 2 sons-in-law, Jim Renehan and Tim Picciotti, and grandson, Kyle Renehan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike (Rt 108), Clarksville, MD 21029.

Burial will be held on Friday, July 28th at 11:00 am at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 12700 Hall Shop Rd, Highland, MD 20777.

Relatives and friends are welcome to come back to the family home following the burial at 13475 Clarksville Pike (Rt 108), Highland, MD 20777.
