It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Son, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Brother-In-Law, Uncle, Great Uncle and Friend, Michael “Wayne” Turner.
Michael “Wayne” Turner passed away suddenly on July 14, 2025 at his home in Ashton, Maryland. Most people knew him as “Wayne”. He was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life, family gatherings, fishing, music, a good movie and talking with his friends. Wayne was a third-generation graduate of Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, Maryland class of 1980. He worked most of his life in the construction industry as a tile setter, plumber’s helper and carpentry. His smile, laugh and kinder spirit will be missed by many.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father Carroll Wayne Turner in 1998. He leaves behind his beloved mother Mary Ruth Turner, son Michael Stirling Turner, grandson Luca and granddaughter Everleigh. Wayne was a cherished brother by three sisters, Donna Engelhard (Jeff), Deborah Johnson (George), Nancy Kohanyi (Michael). He was a special uncle to Kathleen Casagranda (Mick), George "Buddy" Johnson, Vince Engelhard, and Evan Engelhard and great uncle to Bob Casagranda and Maryann Casagranda.
