Michael J. Hanlon

Michael Joseph Hanlon “Mike”, 40, of Washington, DC passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022.

Mike was born on March 31, 1982 to John and Virginia Hanlon. He grew up in Brookeville, MD and was a graduate of Sherwood High School (Class of 2000). He attended the University of Maryland College Park, graduating in 2005. Mike had a successful and distinguished career as Technical Recruiter where he excelled and was the recipient of several professional awards throughout his career. In his personal life, Mike was known for having a huge heart and was loved by many. He was charismatic and caring, leaving a lasting impression on everyone that met him.

In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his siblings Kathy (and Bill) Zonghetti, Jake Hanlon, Ginny Jones, Beth Hanlon, and Annie (and Brad) Lacey.  Mike was adored and will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, Zachary, Luke, Bernice, Jacob, and Jack Hanlon; Cole Miles; Kelly, Kyle, and Ashley Zonghetti; Hana and Danielle Jones; and Tyler and Jenna Lacey.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 2 pm - 4 pm and 6 pm - 8 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Oakdale Church, 3425 Emory Church Rd. Olney, MD 20832 at 10:30 am followed by a gathering and luncheon at the church.
