Mary Ann (Prosser) Mastroianni

Mary Ann (Prosser) Mastroianni of Glenwood, MD passed away from heart failure at the age of 83.  She went peacefully with family by her side.  Mary Ann was born July 28, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA to Clyde Wilson Prosser and Barbara Ellen (McCaffrey) Prosser.  She was preceded by her husband, Dr. Thomas Owen Mastroianni, her brother, Clyde “Buggs” Wilson Prosser, Jr and sister, Delores Mae (Prosser) DeOrsey.  She was an audiologist at George Washington University and then at National Institute of Health (NIH).

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Mary Lauren (Mastroianni) DeSimone (Neil and children Christian and Matthew), Michael Mastroianni (Janet Gaddis) Mastroianni and children Alicia and Dean, and Elizabeth (Mastroianni) Riley (Shawn Riley). Extended family, to whom she was close, include her sister-in-law, Concetta “Chetty” Mastroianni and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives may visit on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A. 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, Maryland 21029

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Parish, Main Sanctuary,  12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, Maryland 21029.

Interment will be Private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Amalfi Coast Music Festival .
