Mary Virginia Ayers

Mary Virginia Ayers, of Fulton Maryland, passed away on Monday, June 12th, 2023 at the age of 76. She was born September 25th, 1946 in Olney, Maryland to the late Carlton W. Bell and Elizabeth Mae Bell. Mary loved watching baseball games, playing bingo, watching the cooking channel, playing slot machines, and trips to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, but above all, loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Paul Ayers, and her sister Joan Elizabeth Kessler. She is survived by her daughter Tracie Lynn Thomas and her husband Eric Thomas of Woodbine, Maryland, her son, Wayne Edward Ayers, and his wife, April Ayers of Fulton, Maryland, two grandchildren, Amanda Heflin and her husband Danny Heflin of Sykesville, Maryland, and Casey Knopp of Woodbine, Maryland, two great-grandchildren, Cameron Paul Heflin and Eliza Jae Heflin.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Family and friends are invited to join a casual celebration of life to be held on Saturday, August 12th at 2:00 pm, located at her residence, 12119 Scaggsville Road, Fulton Maryland 20759.
