Mark Anthony Hoke

God called home his faithful servant, Mark Hoke, on March 22, 2021.

Mark was born May 1, 1964 to Henry Hoke and Dolly Ligon in Laurel, MD where he grew up, met his sweetheart, Sue, and continued on to raise his family.

Mark was a stone mason by profession and worked for Dimensional Marble and Tile for 28 years. He was the co-founder of No Person Left Behind where he poured his heart into the lives of wounded, injured and ill veterans.

You can't describe Mark without the word "hunter". Ever since he was a young boy, the majority of Mark's free time was spent in the woods. He always said he felt most at peace there.

Mark was a grateful man who loved cooking, helping others, cracking a quick witted joke, playing pranks and watching his grand babies eat and play!

He is survived by his wife, Sue Hoke, two children, Tony Hoke and Katelyn Hernandez (Juventino), the light of his world, his three grandchildren, Leon Hoke, Gianna Hernandez and Fox Ferris, mother Dolly Ligon, and siblings Sheryl Boccabello, Henry Hoke, Audra Hoke, Elizabeth Novotny, Mary Francis and Lorraine Long.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Hoke.

A Visitation will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A. on Sunday, March 28 from 1 to 4pm and again on Monday, March 29 from 10 to 11am. A funeral service will be held on March 29 at 11am at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A. with burial to follow at Linthicum Chapel, 12155 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD .
