Lilian Lopez Genovez

On September 29, 2025, Lillian Lopez Genovez passed away peacefully at her home in Lanham, Maryland.

She was born April 6, 1951, in Juayua, El Salvador to Jose Genovez and Marta Lopez De Genovez.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jose Genovez and Marta Lopez De Genovez; and sisters Rohde Malinda Romero, Marty Genovez, and Cleotilde “Coty” Mejias (Genovez).

She is survived by her daughters Rubidia Carmelina Cruz-Reyes and Gladis Elvira Gonzalez; grandchildren Gladis Gonzalez Edwards, Natalie Gonzalez, Ruby Cruz, and Agustin Cruz-Reyes; great-grandchild Sophia Edwards; sisters Dora, Marina, and brother Osmin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and MANY other relatives and friends.

Lillian was hardworking and generous. She loved spending quality time with her family and enjoyed visiting her hometown in El Salvador. She loved listening to and dancing to music.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a funeral service starting at 6:00pm at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., located at 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 10 AM at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., located at 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029, followed by burial at 11:30AM at Linthicum Chapel Cemetery, Clarksville MD 21029.

Funeral Reception will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 2PM at Salvation Army Prince George’s Corps located at 4825 Edmonston Road Hyattsville, MD 20781.
