Larry W. Tedrow

Larry Wayne Tedrow, 75, passed away peacefully at Gilchrist Hospice on June 29, 2022.  He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 13, 1947, to Wayne and Betty Tedrow.  Larry was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Larry graduated from the University of Maryland in 1970.  Larry retired from IBM in 1996 after 25 years of service and continued his career with Scytale, Inc. until he officially retired in 2008.

Larry was a passionate Terps fan, an avid golfer, a trustee, and active member of Glenelg United Methodist Church.  He loved traveling, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Larry was happily married to Sandy for 44 years.  Together they raised two wonderful sons, Todd (wife Andrea) and Matthew (wife Lindsay), and was “Poppy” to four grandchildren, Logan, Brynn, Lillian and Raelyn.  He is survived by his brother, Marvin (wife Sandy) and brother-in-law Jack Murtaugh (wife Eloise).

His unconditional love and fighting spirit that he instilled in each of us will never be forgotten.  He will live in our hearts forever.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Glenelg United Methodist Church, 13900 Burntwoods Road, Glenelg, MD 21737, on July 14, 2022.  All are welcome to join for a celebration of life luncheon at Cattail Creek Country Club, 3600 Cattail Creek Drive, Glenwood, MD  21738 beginning at 12 p.m.  He will be laid to rest at Harford Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen, MD at a later date.
