Katherine P. Wujcik

On September 5, 2022, Katherine Pettus Wujcik age 50, of Columbia, MD, passed away from complications of cancer.  Katherine was born in Morristown, NJ, and is the daughter of Thruston W. Pettus and Susan Fouke Pettus and older sister to Thruston W. Pettus, Jr.

Katherine, an animal lover, would lay out food and watch all the animals arrive (land and air) on the deck to enjoy the treats she provided.  She had a special place in her heart for her beloved cats (too many to list here).   Hopefully, after watching a mid-morning Manchester United win and cheering on her favorite player, Ranaldo (yes, he is gorgeous), she would enjoy spending an afternoon picking the winners at Laurel Park and Saratoga Race Track.

A graduate of Skidmore College, Katherine had a career in the theatre arts as a freelance scenic designer and scenic painter/artist.

Katherine is survived by her husband of 17 years Mark J Wujcik and her father, Thruston W. Pettus.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Fouke Pettus, and her brother, Thruston W Pettus, Jr.

Funeral services will be private.
