Katherine M. (Freeman) Edmundson

On Saturday, December 23, 2017, Katherine M. Edmundson passed away peacefully at her home in Laurel Md. Katherine graduated from Newport News High School in Newport News, Va before moving to Savage Md and then finally to Laurel in 1954. She worked as a secretary at the House of Corrections, University of Md and retired from the State Roads Commission in Laurel. Katherine spent many winters in Port Charlotte, Fl and lead a very active life playing cards and going out with friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Mabel, Walter, Edward, Audrey and Anne as well as her husband of 70 years, Walter F. Edmundson. She is survived by her two daughters, Audrey Furr and Julia Weaver-Lentz; her grandchildren Terri Ruehl, Donald Furr Jr, Kim Centano and Brian Weaver; and her great grandchildren Christopher Ruehl, Kyle Ruehl, Russell Ruehl, Crystal Furr, Misty Furr, Justin Furr, Brandon Miller, Chase Miller, Isabella Centano and Kaylee Weaver.
