June Marie (Kemmer) Kennedy

June Marie Kennedy, 95, of Linthicum, Maryland, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

June was born October 17, 1925 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Hazel (nee Clark) and the late Dr. Thomas R. Kemmer. June was a graduate of East Grand Rapids High School and Grand Rapids Junior College.

June married Lt. A. Gordon Kennedy on August 7, 1950, at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. They traveld extensively with the U.S. Air Force before settling in Linthicum, Maryland.

June was a homemaker, an avid bridge player and loved to read.

She is survived by a daughter, Lynne Cueto (John) of Hagerstown, Maryland; a son, James Kennedy (Nancy) of Sparks, Maryland; grandchildren John N. Cueto, Daniel Kennedy (Sara), Anna Cueto, Megan Andereck (Jon), Christopher Cueto and Lauren Kennedy and great-grandson Jackson James Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her sister, Frances Schmidt of Traverse City, Michigan.
