On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, Jeff Neisess of Ellicott City, MD, passed away surrounded by his wife and children after a short but hard-fought battle with cancer. His desire to have just one more moment with his family and friends was apparent when the cancer struggle became increasingly difficult, but he continued to fight every day.

He had a gentle, kind spirit and wicked sense of humor. Jeff respected everyone and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was well known as a skilled woodworker and musician. He loved concerts, history, and traveling with his family.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 30 years, Maureen, and three children, Christoph, Mary Clare, and Samuel. Jeff was the strength of their family and he will be missed every day. They will honor him with their lives. He was loved by his three siblings, Greg Neisess of Nevada, Shelly Appelgate of Iowa, and Cyndy Curnes of South Carolina. Jeff was admired and loved by his family by marriage Richard and Claudette Henry, Pennsylvania, Rick Henry, Virginia, Kate Henry, Virginia, Ron Henry, Florida, and Jeannie Henry, Pennsylvania.
