Jack Sheehan

John (Jack) David Sheehan, age 30, of Glenwood, Maryland passed away on April 22, 2025.

Jack was a kind and gentle soul who celebrated the successes of everyone around him with enthusiasm and pride. He loved animals and they loved him back. He spent many hours caring for the horses and other animals at Days End Farm Horse Rescue. He also enjoyed delivering food to the HCC Food Pantry for students. He worked at Thales Defense and Security in Clarksburg, MD since 2016, where he was part of a very supportive and caring facilities and maintenance team. Jack loved playing sports, and was known for having an encyclopedic knowledge of sports and history, although he was very humble about that. Jack added joy to those around him with his wit and sense of humor, especially his heckling in the midst of video game playing.

Born February 16, 1995 in New Jersey to Michael and Jennifer (Kay) Sheehan, Jack lived the first ten years of his life in Verona, NJ, attending Forest Avenue Elementary School. He then moved with his family to Glenwood, MD and graduated from Glenelg High School, Howard Community College (HCC) and studied Animal Science at University of Maryland.

He is survived by his parents, brother Matthew (Riley Sanchez) and sister Julia (Clayton Jones), his many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins, his grandmother Barbara Sheehan, and his childhood caregiver Marcia Singleton.  He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Frances and David Kay, and his paternal grandfather Thomas Sheehan.

A gathering will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029.
