Heidi (Kresan) Henson

Heidi K. Henson, loving wife of William H. Henson, III, passed away on February 2,2020 at their home in Glenwood, MD, surrounded by family and friends, after a six year battle with pancreatic cancer. Heidi is also survived by her children Paige Henson (Steve Ryan) of Lutherville, MD and Paula Green (Todd Green) of Owings, MD, brother Scott Kresan (Ricki Kresan) of Placitas, NM and granddogs Kylie, Luke, Danny, Lilly and Cookie. Heidi was predeceased by her parents CDR (Ret) W. Paul and Phyllis Kresan.

Heidi retired after 33 years as a mathematician at the National Security Agency. Love of family and friends was her life-long priority, fighting hard to survive to meet her grandson later this year. Heidi was best known for her generous spirit, taking joy in entertaining family and friends in her beautiful home and gardens. She was creative, always looking for new challenges, an amazing chef, and loved to travel to meet new people and experience new cultures. What her friends and family admired most about Heidi was her grace and determination as she dealt with her illness.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Heidi be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research at lustgarten.org or 415 Crossways Park Drive, Suite D, Woodbury, NY 11797. A celebration of life is planned for later this year. Due notice of services will be given via this site.
