Gregory G Lawlor
Gregory G Lawlor, of Glenwood, MD, entered eternal rest at the age of fifty nine on February 16th, 2026 at Howard County General Hospital surrounded by his family. Greg was a loving and deeply devoted husband and father, known for his storytelling, quick wit, intelligence, compassion, and endless reserves of strength for those who needed him. He was a confidant to many who were lucky to have his friendship, affection, presence, and advice. Greg was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 10th, 1966 to Margaret Ahavni Gochigian Lawlor and John Lawlor, and grew up in Rochester, NY. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, before spending thirty three years with Motorola and four with AT&T FirstNet over a long and successful career in sales, training, and marketing development management. Greg married Kimberly Dolinski on May 4th, 1996 and dedicated the rest of his life to being the best husband and father possible; he is survived by Kimberly and their sons Alexander and Mitchell. Greg’s truest joy in life was bringing smiles, happiness, laughter, and love to his family, and spending quality time with friends and loved ones. Greg was always up for a trip to Sea Base, Key West (three trips!) or anything else his sons needed as he supported and had fun with them every step of the way on their journey to Eagle Scout. Greg was a devout Catholic, a member of St. Michael Church of Poplar Springs, and participant in St. Louis Church religious retreats. His sense of humor, wisdom, and guidance will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of Greg’s life will be held on February 25th, 2026 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., located at 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029. The Funeral Mass will take place on February 26th, 2026 at 11:00am at St. Michael Church, located at 1125 St Michaels Rd, Mount Airy, MD 21771. For those who cannot attend in person, the Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on St. Michael Church's youtube channel.
