George "Buddy" Halfpap

George Edward Halfpap (Buddy) lived most of his life in Fulton, Md. He passed away November 5th, 2021 in Little River, South Carolina where he had been living for a couple of years. Prior to that he had lived in Fulton Md. with his wife Constance. She passed away in 2016. They had 4 children (Tommie Ronemus, Charlene Pumphrey (deceased), Sam Hutchens and Cathy Jones.) They had many Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren as well as Great Great Grandchildren. Buddy is also survived by Aunts, Uncles and many Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. He loved his work installing carpet which he learned back in the early 1960s. He owned his own Consumer Carpet Service and then also worked for Bode Floors and CB Floors before retiring. He made many friends who had the same interest as he had: Classic Cars. He loved his Classic Thunderbird as well as the men he would meet with every Sunday morning in Burtonsville. Buddy and his best friend from when he was a teenager, Martin Dresser, remained friends throughout the years.

A Time of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM with a Memorial Gathering from 12:00-3:00 PM at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029.
