Fred John Toibero

Toibero, Fred J. (78), of Highland, MD, passed away peacefully in his home on October 21, 2022; born March 1944 in Washington, DC to Federico & Johanna Toibero.

Beloved husband of the late Dolores (Gonzales) Toibero; beloved father of Frederick, Christina (David Schroen), and Dennis (Elizabeth) Toibero; dear brother of Cathy (Cassis), Rosie (Holman), and Frank Toibero; grandfather of Jessica (Lauer), Denise, Anthony, Melina, and Samantha Toibero; great grandfather of Leah, Braden, and Kyler Lauer; as well as a loved companion to numerous relatives and friends.

Fred was a devoted Catholic, loving husband, and caring father who was always prepared to help family, friends, neighbors, or strangers.  In his younger years he loved to fish and spent many a weekend fishing with his friends and his boys.  After the children were grown, he and Dolores logged thousands of miles driving throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic states with a special love for the eastern shore of MD.  His later years were devoted to caring for Dolores; and following her death he spent time everyday praying at her grave and countless hours at home and church with the overwhelming desire to be with her again.

God our Father, Your power brings us to birth, Your providence guides our lives, and by Your command we return to dust.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence, their lives change but do not end. I pray in hope for my family, relatives and friends, and for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ, Who died and now lives, may they rejoice in Your kingdom, where all our tears are wiped away. Unite us together again in one family, to sing Your praise forever and ever.   Amen.

Relatives and friends may visit Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD, 21029 on Wednesday Nov 2 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass at St Louis Catholic Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD (Fr. John Mudd) on Thursday, November 3 at 11:00 AM.  For those unable to travel, the service will be streamed at https://www.youtube.com/stlouisvideos/live and will go online at approximately 10:50 a.m..  Interment to follow at St Louis Cemetery.  Family and friends will be welcomed back to the family home following the internment.
