Ernestine Jones Scott

On August 5, 2020, Ernestine “Billie” Jones Scott, age 87, of Highland, MD passed away peacefully.

She was born in 1932 to Creed and Ruby Jones in Pennsboro, WV. Billie was self-employed and a business owner of American Door Company in Beltsville, MD. She was an avid birdwatcher, gardener, and Disney fanatic. She enjoyed playing games, shopping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and family recipes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles “Scotty” Scott Sr., sister Emogene Jones, son Kevin Scott, son-in-law Robert Clark and grandson Bradley Clark.

She is survived by her children Charles (Lori) Scott of Clarksville, MD and Kara Clark of Myersville, MD, her step-sons, Stephen Scott, Robert Harris, and her grandchildren Zachary, Shelby, Cassidy, Heather, Bryan, Yvonne, Shannon, Jessica Scott and many close family friends.

A private burial will take place.
