Eleanore Kay (Brokaw) Ellenes

On Thursday August 20, 2020, Eleanore Brokaw Ellenes, age 78, of Glenwood, Maryland passed away. Eleanore was born in 1942 to Joseph and Helen Brokaw in Angola, Indiana.  She retired from the United States Small Business Administration in 1999 after 34 years of service. She was an active member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fulton, Maryland. She enjoyed extensive travel after retirement with her favorite destinations being Florida and Norway. She loved gardening, cooking, classic car shows, NASCAR, drag races and her flowers.  She is survived by her husband of 56 years Knut E. Ellenes, her son Erik Ellenes, her brothers Milton and Joe Brokaw.   Eleanore was a warm and friendly person, full of energy, with a smile for all.  She will be missed very much by both family and friends.

Friends and relatives may call at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD. 21029 on Thursday August 27 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 28 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in the church pavilion, 11759 Scaggsville Road (Rte. 216) Fulton, Maryland, 20759.
